On this two-hour tour, you’ll get to visit Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla and the Church of Santa Maria in Carmona with an art historian guide.
Firstly, you’ll visit Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla. Here, you’ll get to go up to the Tower of Gold at the highest point of the structure, from where you can enjoy impressive city views. You’ll also discover that the gate was declared a ‘Historic and Artistic Monument’ in 1906, owing to its historical value.
Thereafter, you’ll walk to the city centre, where you’ll stop to visit the Church of Santa Maria. As you explore this cultural monument, you'll learn that it is known for its architecture and that it was built on the site of an old mosque.
