This tour will allow you to get acquainted with the city of Groningen with the navigation and knowledge of a local guide.

The stops you’ll make along the way can be based upon your own personal preferences and duration of the tour – you can request in advance to stop at any specific places – or you can have your Lokafyer (local) put together a proper introduction to the city for you.

    If you would like to include a visit to an attraction, you will need to pay an additional fee to cover the cost of admission and the Lokafyer (local guide).

    Please note that tours are entirely personalised. Please provide your preferred start time, meeting place and personal information so that we can organize the tour.

    This tour runs in all weather conditions. Please dress accordingly.

    Please note that this is a customised private walking tour. Printed tickets are not required. Please provide your email address and information about you and your travel companions' interests so that we can organize the tour for you. We require your email in order to send the final tour confirmation, which includes the name and contact information for the Lokafyer (local) who will be showing you the city. This tour can be started from any centrally located hotel as per travellers' request. If your hotel is located outside the city centre, we will select a convenient meeting point in the city centre. Please note that the tour may end at a different location from the departure point unless requested in advance of the tour.
