Located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, Dar Dorra offers a terrace, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Everything was amazing. All the staff, from reception to the waiters and waitresses, were very kind and always happy to help. The spa/hamman is great to relax. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. As for the location, Dar Dorra is in the middle of the medina, very conveniently close to the souk and the Kasba. Easy also to pick a taxi to go anywhere. I will definitely come back here.

Featuring garden views, OLIVIA Guest House (Eya & Abbes) provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.4 km from Amilcar Beach. It is a lovely, spacious apartment and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable...breakfast staples (eggs, yogurt, bread, butter, cookies), tea/coffee, toiletries, even toothpaste and extra tooth brushes. There is a big TV with many English channels. Heating is available in the living and bedrooms. A nice small patio to sit outside. There is a laundry machine to use. Owners are right next door for any questions or concerns. We contacted them using WhatsApp. The town center is a bit of a walk from the apartment but nothing too arduous. Make sure you try a Bambalouni (Tunisian donut) in town! The apartment is right up the road from the train station when coming from Tunis, or going to explore Carthage Ruins. I highly recommend staying at Olivia Guesthouse.

Situated in Gammarth and only 400 metres from La Marsa Beach, VILLA EDO features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Villa Edo is a heavenly place. Quiet, chic, peaceful and perfectly taken care of by its great hosts. A great place for an escape! Facilities are at great standard (breakfast, room cleaning, pool etc), hosts could not be more welcoming and the Villa is a gem! Are is quiet yet has good accesibility to the beach wnd great garden views.

My wife and I came here just after our wedding, not as a honeymoon but just to have a week of vacation after all the planning, organization, and stuff to do. It was the perfect place. Only 5 rooms, but each one has a particular character, the interiors, and the art they have is just amazing and completely within our tastes. We wanted to buy half the items on display there. The breakfast was just amazing. everything was fresh, and such a big choice. The staff was also so accommodating towards all our wishes, wether it was sleeping in a bit or helping with choices for restaurants and musea. We couldn't have wished for anything better and we will for sure come back when we visit Tunis again.

Featuring city views, Dar Souad features accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a bar, around 1.4 km from Corniche Beach. outstanding breakfast, free coffee and shakshuka or omelette served on demand, strawberry smoothie was delish. Garden pool - perfect for a swim in 40 degrees heat. Our bed on top 3rd floor was comfy and we had great views. Reception staff speaks excellent english (Farah was lovely) and you can pay by card in eur/gbp/usd (rare in Tunis). Hotel is a home to a doggy and 2 kittens, it felt very safe. I would recommend it to solo female travellers.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The breakfast was so delicious, and the room charming and luxury. All the staff so caring, polite and helpful.

Why are the croissants in Tunisia so much better than home?! The breakfast was good (it includes croissants!), the rooms was comfortable and the property was as beautiful as the photos. Our host, Hedi, was very helpful and accommodating.
