Kanuka Chalet is a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Ohakune holiday home. This relaxed and comfortable mountain base is an ideal Ohakune getaway for up to 8 guests! This bright and cosy Ohakune holiday home enjoys well appointed, open plan living with a fireplace for toasty winter stays... Share a meal with your group, watch a movie, or head to the Ohakune shops and cafe's situated a 5 minute walk away. Bedroom 1 at this Ohakune accommodation is fitted with a queen bed plus an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is also fitted with a Queen bed. Bedroom 3 includes 2 sets of single bunks, a single bed and your choice of either another single, the port-a-cot or just space for your bags! The main bathroom has been built with family in mind and is designed to make sure you can bath the kids easily with plenty of space for storage and towels. The laundry is set-up to dry all your kit overnight with a heat transfer system, dehumidifier, and space to hang all your clothes, gloves, helmets, and other kit. There's even a lockable storage cupboard to keep all your gear safe. Stay in or hit the slopes, everything you need for your next Ohakune getaway is on hand. Welcome to Kanuka Chalet! Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
