Comfortable property which had everything we needed for a short stay. Kitchen was clean and well fitted out and bedrooms are all a good size. Within in easy walking distance of town centre and Riverside park and cricket ground. Hosts were very good at responding to a ny queries and gave us all the information about the property in good time. P

Breakfast was delicious, perfectly cooked and in lovely surroundings. We had a cooked breakfast however the continental breakfast looked delicious too, with plenty of pastries, cheeses, fruit etc. The architecture and decor of the building was fabulous and interesting, so much so that we had a Google of the history of the building. I liked the nods of decor to the University (I'm a past graduate) and the room had a science theme including microscope and pictures which was quirky. Nice comfortable bed and good quality toiletries. All staff were friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect, as we were visiting the cathedral for an evening concert and also had reservations at a nearby restaurant. My partner and i had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and would love to return in the future.
