Originally a Franciscan convent built in 1587, Hotel La Collegiata is located in the Colli Seneri area, within east reach of mediaeval towns such as San Gimignano and Volterra. Our stay here was absolutely wonderful from start to finish!!!

Hotel Sovestro is surrounded by pine trees, vineyards and olive trees, just 1.5 km from San Gimignano's towers. It features 2 swimming pools, a free gym and typical restaurant. Perfectly placed to visit San Gimignano. Shuttle bus is helpful and the walk back was beautiful.

Just outside the Castle of Monteriggioni, Albergo Casalta is on Via Francigena in the historic village of Strove. This friendly family-run hotel is set in an ancient Lombard fortress with stone walls.... The property was lovely! The location was very beautiful!

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace. Nice place in the middle of town, old hotel with history, nice staff.

Set in the centre of Colle Val d'Elsa, La Vecchia Cartiera was once a paper mill. Friendly, helpful staff, central location, outlook from room, room facilities and the breakfast.

Residenza D'Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi is a historical palace dating back to the 13th century and located inside the city walls on the main street of San Gimignano, Via San Matteo, really full... If I could only give ten stars to this place.
