Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there.

It was also easy to get around to other beaches, Slaves Chamber and the coral caves. The neighboring village people are very nice and the groundkeepers and staff were very friendly, helpful and prepared delicious meals for us. Definitely recommended.

Firefly is located in Bagamoyo, 60 km north of Dar es Salaam. The guest house has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. This place is so quaint in a great location. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, breakfast was so delicious with lots of options. Beds were comfy and they gave us extra fans to beat the heat! We stayed there with 3 kids and felt really safe and at ease. The ocean is really close along with the fish market. Lots of good places to eat close by as well.
