Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.

Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review.
Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review. We ate at the Poivre Rouge. Staff very nice but the steak my wife had was the most overpriced piece of meat I have ever seen. The steak - butchers cut - is in the photo. It cost €15.50 on its own!!

We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel.
We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel. Time on our hands this time, meant that we could visit some of the beaches. Those at Sangatte were truly lovely and well worth spending a day or more at. Coquelles itself has a good supermarket, restaurants etc, so worth breaking the journey there and preparing either for an excursion further into France, or the trip back home. And if you have time, Cap Gris-Nez is also lovely!

The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence and many police vehicles in the car park making it feel very safe and secure. The location is perfect for the tunnel and shopping, where it is quite basic it suits well for an overnight stop.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Furnishings a little tired.
The breakfast is really good, self service buffet. Very nice atmosphere in the breakfast room. The receptionists were all super friendly even in the early hours of the morning. The rooms were comfy and the location can't be beaten to get the eurotunnel back to the UK. We stayed in this hotel on the way to France and way back and we shall stay again. It really is brilliant. There's also a MacDonalds very close to the hotel which was very useful with small children arriving late.
This is a recently refurbished hotel, and theyve done a great job. Its no luxury 5 star venue, but its perfect for what we wanted. If you look at Google maps, it looks like a poor hotel in a poor area, but the truth is it was a welcoming pit stop for us on our way back home to UK. Breakfast was much better than I expected, and the service was friendly and prompt. I think this will be my go to hotel in Calais in the future.
We stay here as without doubt this is the best hotel in Calais. And to our complete surprise a lovely gift was awaiting in our room from the hotel as we have stayed here before many times. A true sincere act of customer service and this hotel will be our choice for many more trips thank you your staff are brilliant and the manager simply the best
We’ve stayed here at least 4 times before. it’s a perfect stopover on the Eurotunnel journey to or from France. V clean, comfortable, all the facilities you need and a decent breakfast. Staff are v pleasant and there’s plenty of free parking. 10 mins drive to the centre of Calais if you want to visit.
The night manager on duty was extremely helpful, he helped us change rooms as the first room we had the window was broken and the cold air was coming in. He also arranged for a late evening snack for us and offered for us to sit in the restaurant and made us feel very comfortable and ‘special’. Thank you!
Large, well-appointed hotel, in an excellent location if you are travelling through Calais on the Eurotunnel etc. Pleasant landscaped grounds, swimming pool, lots of parking, good-sized rooms. Restaurant and bar, and with a better food offering than on my last visit here. Dog-friendly.
It was my children's first stay in a hotel. They loved it The staff were very polite, welcoming, smart and professional. Everything was super clean and sparkling. Breakfast was amazing. My children loved the pool. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work.
I used to stay in this hotel at least once a year before the pandemic. I haven't been there for about 3 years. The room is still clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable. Being right next to Eurotunnel and Cite Europe, the location is fantastic.
Easy to find, plenty parking space. Close to eurotunnel. Provided a very comfortable nights sleep after our long journey 10 hour journey up france. Refreshed ready for the next leg of our journey to Yorkshire.
It was very close to a large shopping mall, and also close to restaurants. We needed somewhere close to the Eurotunnel, and this location made it easy to get there.
