The location was abit far off from the airport and you need to navigate quite a bit to reach there, not very friendly for tourist being there for the first time.

Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris.
Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris. You can't get there in a day. And never ever leave your luggage at the CDG Left Luggage. Never ever fly Air France where seats are too small for children.

Roissy-en-France isn't a tourist destination so a review of it is silly. Caveat - I was on foot and spent only a couple of hours walking around so probably there is more to the town than I saw. It was probably once a charming small town that has been commandeered by CDG airport. Now it seems to be just cheap airport hotels and light industrial businesses catering to the ailines. I found very few places to eat and almost none to buy groceries. You can walk a mile along a busy freeway to the truly dreadful Aeroville shopping center which is a crowded consumerist nightmare with high prices and a lot of stupid cookie-cutter, characterless stores selling overpriced crap. There is one grocery store there - Aucan, with very high prices compared to almost anywhere in France. There seems to be a nice park to walk in in Roissy but it was too cold to do so when I was there. In short I feel sorry for this little town which had the bad luck to have a giant airport move in next door.

Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I...
Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I plan to Europe as because of the facilitates the airport has. From the airport you can take Metro to the city center or to the hotel where you booked to stay (I usually book my accommodation through www.booking.com). If you are willing to stay for few days or week(s), just purchase a navigo card that you can purchase before you get on the Metro at CDG airport and the Customer Service is willing to speak English too compare if you buy in the city, mostly they refuse to provide service if you speak in English. And if you buy a single trip in the city, you could ended up standing long in the queue. Take any Metro or city map to check where to go and what to visit while in the country. Circle/mark it where you stay so it is easier for your to get back to you hotel. If you choose accommodation, make sure it is closer to the public transportations/Metro. If you are from Asia and cannot away from Asian foods, make sure to search Asian restaurant in the first days so you can mixed your food planning between Asian and European foods. Avoid any crowd and make sure to keep safe any of your valuable items. And enjoy every moments you are there even though it is during the winter or summer time. And thank you to Emirates/EK crews who always provide their best services during my flights.

The hotel itself was fine, but they close their restaurant for dinner on weekends which is a huge problem and disappointed. Because we booked through a travel site (Booking.com) we went by their information which did not indicate the lack of dinner options. For us the major complaint is with Booking.com for not providing accurate information. If you just want/need a bed, then perhaps this hotel would be fine, but we needed a decent meal after a day of travel and an early morning flight the next day.

It was convinient to find without much hassle and it was great going around Roissy-en-France! The pollution level is almost negligible and it was wonderful to have witnessed flying wild geese at an eye proximity inspite of the air traffic prevalent because it is located near CDG airport.
Besides, had a sumptuous chocolate breakfast for 6 euros.

If you are travelling through Paris-CDG and need a hotel for your layover this is a great option. It is very close to the airport and you can use the CDGVAL to get to and from the hotel and airport. No need for a taxi! The hotel is in a littel complex of hotels and there was a decent restaurant across the road and the Moxi had great places to sit and relax. I also appreciated that it is quiet given the proximity to the airport.
The hotel is very well located. I stayed there after my arrival to Paris to be able to take a TGV early next morning. The hotel is superb. Very well equipped, clean and tidy. Great and caring staff. Very tasty French breakfast. Easy to get to the airport terminals or to the TGV station. My stay was very short - from 11 pm to 7 am, but I enjoyed it a lot. Can only recommend this place to business travelers.
Location is very close to Roissy airport, accessible by airport shuttle train, with easy connexion to Paris from Roissy pole station (3 min walk from hotel) by either train or bus.
Nice rooms, not big but with extra comfy bed, good choice for breakfast, nice ambiance in the lobby and common areas. Staff very helpful and nice. Ideal for a layover transit.
Great location near Charles De Gaulle Airport. Aeroville shopping mall nearby. Nice village (Roissy-en-France) nearby with good restaurants and a nice little church. There's a big park where you can walk around to do your daily exercise. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is our 3rd stay in 2 years. Definitely value for money.
The location is great for a next day flight out of Paris! We dropped off a rental car, took the airport "shuttle" (as in train) to terminal 3 and found the hotel immediately. We also were able to take the train from the hotel into Paris for our final dinner in France. The hotel is just above the train station which made it so easy.
Clean quiet and comfortable room. Easy walk from the TGV terminal and the RE Paris train. We had an early morning flight so we needed a room at the airport for the night and this hotel worked well. We were able to take train into Paris for the evening. WIFI worked well and the room was automated via an iPad that was provided.
The hotel was near to Paris CDG airport (knows as airport hotels) but it was too far from Paris City Center. No transport convenience from hotel to city center. To reach Paris city center, need to go to airport (by bus) and take two trains to reach city center.
A hotel within the airport at CDG which is great not requiring transportation into Paris or the suburbs. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a bar and nice restaurant within the hotel as well. It is also next to the trains going into Paris.
Nearby this Ibis on Rue de Belle Etoile is public bus 39. For 2,50 euros, bus goes to CDG airport. And in the other direction is an abundance if walkable villages, train station, restaurants, hotels. A walkable affordable alternative.
We had visited Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel twice before and we enjoyed every part of our experience. It was really nice to return to the same place and feel that we have been looked after with every detail. We'll be back again!!
It is close to the airport, it is an okay drive to DisneyLand and an okay drive to Paris Center (40-50 minutes).
It was clean and comfortable, the rooms were cleaned everyday and the hotel had good services and nice staff.
The hotel is pretty close to Paris CDG Airport, this was the reason I did reservation. Parking was for free, internet ok. The hotel stuff was friendly. Like for France the bath room and room was decent size
Perfect hotel for a stayover before a flight. Very close to the RER B, 5 mn walk - 10mn ride to Charles De Gaulle Airport - You have a shower and a toilet inside your room and a TV.
The location was excellent and it was easy to access on arrival into Charles De Gaulle airport. The room was a good size and the hotel itself in the communal areas was attractive.
Nice Star Wars/ futuristic design of hotel and rooms, very sleek. Beds were very comfy. Very convenient for Charles de Gaulle airport as it’s quite easy to get to that terminals.
this hotel is extremely practically well located for one night stay by the airport with good access to transport into Paris. The bedroom was big enough and functional.
Clean, comfortable, close to CDG airport, shuttle available, showers were wonderful, good value. Two minute walk to Roissy, a quaint little French town.
