Vista 18 A la Carte breakfast. Early check-in. In downtown so walking to landmarks and interests. All I need is to park the car in the hotel and walk to places. No need to search for street parking with a parking time limit, risking tickets, decreasing mental load. The facility is maintained well. The swimming pool and jacuzzi appear to be clean. Appreciating that there was a Chromecast to connect to my phone. I can buy takeouts and consume them back in the room. Toaster and microwave available for quick breakfast and food reheat. Sink and dish soap provided as well. The stay was self-sufficient.

Ye Olde England in British Columbia's Capital

The Fisherman's Wharf was interesting with the nicely decorated houses people live in and the lovely hot donuts we ate there. We enjoyed walking around the downtown, having lunch at the Irish Times, walking through the Empress Hotel, and taking a water taxi to Milestones for our dinner. I wish that I could have visited longer and see Emily Carr's house but it was closed at the time. Victoria is a lovely city and James Bay Village is quaint and my favourite place to walk.

Beautiful city with many places within walking distance. Don't miss Butchart Gardesn, Fisherman's warf and the parliament building at night. we had two dogs so meals at fishermans warf were the best and most accomodating. Our stay was too short but it gave us enough ideas for a longer return trip. totally worth it!

Would be helpful if there was a bus on Bellville st.

Would be helpful if there was a bus on Bellville st. As it’s a long walk for a handicap person to walk up to Douglas st. Over all felling Victoria needs to do more to make the city more handicap accessible. Many businesses have stairs that are very restricted.

Victoria is a great city to visit for a walking visit.

Victoria is a great city to visit for a walking visit. Don't bother with a car - parking is expensive or non-existent. Skip the tourist shops on Government Street (except Murchies Teas). Beacon Hill Park is nice especially in spring or summer. The walk around the waterfront presents some interesting views. The Royal British Columbia Museum is a great place to learn about the history of western Canada. Overall, a nice, comfortable place to visit with slight British flavor.

Our room was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Grace, at the reception desk, was lovely and attentive. There is a games room with a massive tv as well as table tennis and foos ball and we popped in there each day to play. The location is very convenient. We travel to a hotel using the BC transit bus (from Victoria Swartz Bay terminal to Downtown). The bus stop is next to the hotel. We stayed at the hotel for one night, and the beds were perfect. At the check-in, the staff is super friendly. They allowed us to keep our bags in a safe room before checking. Therefore, we didn't carry them when we travelled to the downtown area.

Lovely condo with terrace in excellent central location in downtown Victoria. A great home away from home when visiting in Victoria area. We could not have picked a better spot to stay in terms of being in the midst of things.
