Nothing much there, we wouldn't have gone had our friend not been living there. It isn't near enough to any attraction to warrant specifically choosing it as a base. It IS very quiet, though, so that would be a bonus for those looking to get away from the city. I personally preferred the quiet solitude of Uithoorn compared to the chaotic mess of Amsterdam.aaaRtSingapore - 8.0Scored 8.0

Beautiful B & B and in a beautiful location. We hadn't read around location as well as we thought and were surprised at how it took an hour on the bus to the centre, so not ideal for us really due to how we were only there for two days and wanted to see as many sights as possible! HOWEVER, we love immersing ourselves in the culture of wherever we visit and we were able to do this here. The quality of the bedrooms is exceptional and the food was excellent, too. We only sampled the breakfast that was included but it was delicious. The staff are so lovely and friendly - they made the stay very comfortable. Uithoorn is a beautiful location and has lots places to visit - good to have a night out there, even on a Sunday!

We had booked the room with the balcony and it also had a gas fireplace which we used the first day! The breakfast was excellent and each day we got eggs cooked in a different way. The hotel's location is quite accessible; just a few minutes away from Uithoorn Bus Station by foot. Schiphol, Haarlem and Amsterdam are all easily accessible, too.
