We were made to feel incredibly welcome. We arrived very early in the morning and our room had already been prepared and was ready for us. Which was not expected but so appreciated! The breakfast was sooo tasty and all the touches in the room like the nespresso coffee machine and biscuits. The decor was modern and stylish throughout. Despite there pub being fully booked and buzzing downstairs we had a quiet and comfortable night in our room. Couldn’t recommend staying more highly. The location was also fab!

Easy check in with the keys in the lockbox. Alan, our host, responded quickly to our queries. The apartment was clean and tidy, which could accommodate 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped and we can prepare simple meals. The beds were comfortable which allowed us a good sleep. The location was good too, within walking distance to the town center and near driving to places of attractions around Balloch. The TV entertainment channels were great! And finally the checking out like any other instructions was easy and simple. Thanks Alan and June. We had a great stay although it was only for two nights.

Lovely wee toon. Lots ongoing. KILT-WALK w/e. Helpful locals. Clean and tidy streets. Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade. Many outdoor facilities to choose from. Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks,people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄. This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ). Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Visitor information was very accommodating, good food. Train, buses good service. Resturant, Mavi, Princess Rose, Tullies so far Good food and hosts. Loved the train and bus drivers helpful too. Corner store by train very accommodating, can get sim card for your phone and some groceries, small deli, people use a lot, friendly owners/workers xx Shopping mall too/like. With things children can ride and ply on. Buses to go from Balloch area, walked a lot from Bruach Lodge, thru a park with picnic tables with fire pits to cook otherside is view of the Loch. Stop off to eat in Duck Bay/Hotel, good food in restaurant, pleasant service and coffee shop with eats. Still discovering xx Small pharmacy, gift shop too Need more shopsAAnonymous

What can I say about the Tullie Inn, other than it's most likely the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in. Perfect location, excellent room and facilities and friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful restaurant area with quick service and well prepared/presented dishes. As for breakfast? Be prepared to skip lunch. We had the full Scottish and were absolutely stuffed. Definitely high on my list of hotels to revisit.

Andrea was welcoming and so friendly and cooks the best full Scottish breakfast! The room was spacious and super clean, for anyone worried about Covid, Andrea has this well covered with her cleanliness. Our 2 French bulldogs were also very welcome and well looked after at breakfast 😀 Super host with a lovely place. Would return in a heartbeat.
