Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and staff seemed very concerned that we'd be angry - the place is relatively new and there were a couple of other guests who were engaged in quite aggressive conversations with other staff at the time. Seems like there are some issues that need ironing out. However I have no complaints, we were given a beer each, went to park the car across the street, and by the time I returned the room was ready. Room was perfect, bed was huge, swimming pool was a welcome addition. It was only a layover but would have happily spent another night. I think the staff member who helped us might have been called Vern or something similar. He was a really nice guy.

Campbell Cottage B&B asub Nanaimo vanalinnas. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. Breakfast was outstanding! I enjoyed a lot. The owner was very friendly. The bed in the room was excellent. Welcome chocolates and candies were very lovely. The bathroom for the guest was probably recently rennovated and it was very clean. I was told to use another room for study other than a bedroom, which helped me to work.

Quality Inn asub Nanaimos, 12 km kaugusel Wildplay Element Parkist ja 3,3 km kaugusel Petroglyphi pargist. Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our tandem and changed our room to a ground floor room when we arrived. They also let us book in early which was much appreciated.
