This hotel is situated on the car-free island of Heligoland. It features a terrace with views of the North Sea, and the sandy beach is just 100 metres away. The location was great and the view of the water was nice. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious and just like it was represented online. AND the lady at the desk when we checked in was exceptional. She professionally handled grumpy guests checking in ahead of us who complained about everything. Also, on checking out, she gave us the option of paying at a different hotel, that was run by the same people, that did take credit cards. !!AND!! we left very important medication in the refrigerator, which she personally ran over to us while we were paying at the other hotel—this more than makes up for anything I wrote in the “What didn’t you like?”! Thank you so much!

A very comfortable ambience for all guests. You can go to the kitchen at any time and grab any items you like, for instance bottle of wine or some snacks.

Staðsett 700 metra frá Kringelstrand, minna en 1 km frá Nordstrand og í 0 mínútna fjarlægð. Helgolandia Dependance er gististaður í Helgoland, aðeins spölkorn frá ráðhúsinu. The room was bigger than I expected and the facilities exceeded my expectations. Everything was quite new in the room, even if it didn't look like it from outside of the hotel. The check in and check out are processed outside the hotel at a centralised office and the breakfast is also outsourced, but that doesn't create much discomfort. The scrambled eggs were exceptional.
