Located in Iona, Isle of Mull region, Martyrs Bay Rooms is situated 600 metres from Iona Abbey. We had a very comfortable stay at the Rooms and were made to feel at home there - as everywhere else on Iona. The show was, indeed, lovely. :}. Breakfast was tasty and there were always other guests to share a table with and a chat. Meals were conveniently available directly across the street or at a couple of the other hotels nearby or the pizza take out up the street so there was lots of variety. The owner had some golf clubs on hand that she very kindly shared with my husband so that he could have a quick round at the small, but spectacular, links course. The sheep didn’t mind us a bit.

The dog-friendly Bellachroy is the Isle of Mull's oldest inn, established in 1608 as a waypoint for drovers. Guests can enjoy views of Loch Cuin and Dervaig village from the property. Excellent room and very friendly staff. The haggis tasted very good.
