The amban beach house is one of these rare places that are not only really nice, but also has personality and spirit, for the owners who live there and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. The food (vegetarian for me) was amongst the best that i was served in indonesia, fair pricing and certainly cooked with love. I extended my short visit to manokwari and stayed allmost two weeks in the end. If you are interested in traveling papua, the two hosts Mar and Theo are very experienced in all kind of adventures and are happy to help you out with their travel agency. The amban beach house, a place you hardly want to leave ever🤍
