To put this into perspective I've been watching wildlife documentaries and survival programmes since I was a kid, with a dream of being in the Masai Mara on safari. I've had this dream for nearly 40 years. When the reality of the trip bypasses the massive expectations I've had all that time is the tribute I have for this camp. Firstly, To be honest, this resort was an amazing experience for us rather than a stay. It's hands down the best one I've ever been to. From the incredibly friendly staff to the stunning rooms, everything about this place is a delight. I want to start by expressing my gratitude to the amazing staff here. They treat you like family and are so incredibly kind-hearted. They go above and beyond to fulfill your every request, taking care of your needs day and night. Their genuine concern for your well-being is truly heartwarming. And let's talk about the food - it's indescribably delicious. They serve dishes which are similar to Michelin-starred restaurants. Be it any cuisine, they serve you!. We enjoyed their speedy internet too. The drivers here are also exceptional. They have a wealth of knowledge, respect for nature, and everyone they encounter. They know exactly where to go and are incredibly organized. Overall, the standout feature of this place is definitely the staff and the entire resort itself. Highlight of our trip was that we easily managed to sight hippos, Elephants from their observation desk. I would give it a solid 10/10 without hesitation.

The location is great as you're sleeping in the park. Obadiah, the manager, was great. He helped me with everything from game drives to getting a covid test needed to depart. Dennis, my driver/guide, works for Julia's and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & kept in contact with the other guides so we didn't miss a river crossing (or anything else). We saw leopard, plenty of lion, cheetah, hyena, elephants, two river crossings (5000 animals each crossing), cheetah kill, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, crocs, etc. Truly exceptional and once in a lifetime experience. The meals were great. I had pancakes, fresh fruit, & whip cream for breakfast. Eggs, etc are available. Value for money 10/10.

Right in the heart of Mara reserve. View of river is lovely. Not all rooms have view but lodge view is top. Hippos and crocodiles in river. Great sounds at night. Lovely location for exploring Mara.
