Linda is a great host, absolutely recommended! Vilankulo is amazing, enjoy your stay and visit the islands nearby! Super comfy bed despite a bit too narrow.

We visited Vilankulos partly to relax, partly to dive. We visited during the low season; both Villancool and the town were generally quiet and peaceful. The beach-view villa we stayed at was beautiful, and well equipped. Shopping for seafood and vegetables at the market was a great experience, and it was good that the villas are self-catering. Other than the many traditional dow-style fishing boats that get stranded at low tide, the miles of beach were largely deserted and ideal for long walks, accompanied by King and Smile, the two gorgeous dogs that belong at the property. Dalton and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful....no task was too small for them. We cannot recommend the place strongly enough, and will be returning.

Clean rooms, very kind staff, fantastic breakfast, delicious restaurant for dinner and perfect location (direct door to the beach and sea views all time), swimming pool and shower for take out the sand. They can also help with tourism recommendations (boat trips to islands, etc.). Very recommended. They made us feel like home.

Although there had just been a cyclone (and the property was also hit by this violence of nature) we were compensated above expectations. Great management of the Bahia Mar family and people that will stay in the apartment I would definitely recommend multiple massages at the SPA (they are the best!)

Baobab Beach Resort og Backpackers býður upp á veitingastað og gistirými með ókeypis WiFi í Vilanculos, 300 metrum frá Supermarket Yussuf Aisha. The hotel is located directly at the beach front. Located directly next to the best local diving/snorkeling center and just 10 min away from the best kite surf center (vilancool) on the beach. You can reach the local market by foot in ~10 min. I even walked to the bus station by foot in the morning. Vilanculos is very secure, you don't need to take a taxi except if you don't want to walk anymore. ;-) In the restaurant you can select from a wide range of very delicious food. I ate couple of times here and always got a good portion of very tasty food - good value for money. The staff and especially Rebecca were so friendly! Definitely the best hotel I stayed in Mozambique.
