The morning delicious round table breakfast was delicious. It gave the guests from various walks of life and nationalit a friendly atmosphere to chat. Breakfast not included But Beth, our host, left breakfast food at our door to our surprise. The very lovely two -bedroom apartment was large enough to easily accommodate up to six people. Cleanliness throughout was evident and the peony fragrance was just another welcoming touch. The kitchen was set up with a Keurig , beautiful china and flatware and more and more. Indeed home away from home. Your stay at Artful will be worth the cost AND Artful is extremely close to the state's capital with its magnificent gold-leaf dome. This is a fabulous rustic jewel. OH! before I forget the sunset on the property will astound you. Also John, brother to Beth, kept us guided and he didn't have to. Our stay at Artful was excellence personified. We were just passing through town and staying only one night, so it was really convenient to be right in the middle of town. There's a big public parking lot with lots of spaces behind the hotel.

Honestly, this was one of my all-time favorite experiences in a hotel. I traveled alone for work to Montpelier (something I do a few times a year), but this was my first time staying at the Inn. I felt a little sad to leave after my two week stay because of how charming the experience was. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, private, and very clean. The muffins at breakfast always fueled the start of my work day. But the best part was going downstairs at the end of the day to have pizza and talk to the staff. They were always there to greet me in the most personable way, we laughed a bunch, and I got to know them. The pizza, salads, and pasta are delicious! It really feels like a home, with a lively and delicious restaurant experience below. Thank you so so so much to Mattie, Dave, and Tyler especially for such a nice time. I'll be back!
