Indeed home away from home. Your stay at Artful will be worth the cost AND Artful is extremely close to the state's capital with its magnificent gold-leaf dome. This is a fabulous rustic jewel. OH! before I forget the sunset on the property will astound you. Also John, brother to Beth, kept us guided and he didn't have to. Our stay at Artful was excellence personified. Plan that trip to Montpelier and stay at Artful Lodging and Retreats. IT WILL WOW YOU!.

Honestly, this was one of my all-time favorite experiences in a hotel. I traveled alone for work to Montpelier (something I do a few times a year), but this was my first time staying at the Inn. I felt a little sad to leave after my two week stay because of how charming the experience was. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, private, and very clean. The muffins at breakfast always fueled the start of my work day. But the best part was going downstairs at the end of the day to have pizza and talk to the staff. They were always there to greet me in the most personable way, we laughed a bunch, and I got to know them. The pizza, salads, and pasta are delicious! It really feels like a home, with a lively and delicious restaurant experience below. Thank you so so so much to Mattie, Dave, and Tyler especially for such a nice time. I'll be back!
