The houses are located a little uphill in the village and offer fantastic views of the sea from Elafonisos Island to Cape Malea. The village provides a variety of beaches and restaurants as well as small shops within foot walking distance. Stella and Stathis are excellent hosts and care about their guests. The breakfast is very rich. Bread, jams, and other dishes are freshly prepared by Stella every day and are of stunning quality. Stathis himself is from the island and has recommendations for every day, every temperature, and every wind direction - ranging from adventure to chilling. The island itself is an insider tip for hiking (medium day trips) and still has reasonable, pure individual tourism. The Internet is fast. Overall, we felt highly comfortable.

Abramis Rooms are located in the village of Mitata, in the centre of Kithira Island, within a 20-minute drive from the port and 8 km from Potamos village. The traditional decorative style of the two rooms we stayed was beautiful and very creative.

Loved the outdoor seating areas, this apartment had 2 depending on your preference, sun vs shade. Windows fitted with screens, nice pillow options and a later checkout time. If you are a hiker, this apartment is very close to 2 different trailheads. Parking available if you have a rental car.

Sirene Villas is located in Diakofti, 1.5 km from Kythira Diakofti Port. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Very nice welcome with efficient reception. The calm design and nicely outfitted room with its own outdoor balcony with table and chairs along with clothesline had a nice view of water and hills. The bathroom was very clean, design very nice with modern equip. with nice towels, soaps, shower cap. The kitchenette was equiped with stovetop, dishes, sink with water bottle in refrigerator. WIFI on property and within room. The swimming pool area is beautiful although the rainy weather we did not use. The breakfast offerings were outstanding and the owners/staff are fantastically gracious hosts. p.s. very good cafe for other meals is located within 2 blocks called Manolis

Just 50 metres from the beach of Agia Pelagia, Anatoli is built according to the local architecture offering self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Room was a lot bigger than expected. Reception and staff were so lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend!

The location is quite good, in land, about a 5 min drive from Livadi, and about 10 min from the Chora & 15min from Kapsali port & beach. The distance to the airport and/or to the ferry port is about 30 to 35 min. The property is new, so everything is updated, and they have all kind of perks (Netflix connection, music player, ceiling fan, clothes washer, etc). The room is on the small size and the wardrobe built around the head of the bed requires a bit of adjusting when getting in and out of the bed, but the bathroom has a generous size and a large shower. Everything one needs for a short or long stay is there, and the place is airy, with a nice outdoor seating area and views over the hilly Kythira inlands. Definitely, we'll go back when visiting Kythira.
