Located in the magical far away village of Alojera, perfect for adventurers, hikers, and people looking for relaxation and quiet solitude. Wonderful terrace on the roof of the house (shared between both apartments of the house), offering views on the surrounding hillsides, the ocean and on clear days also the neighboring island of La Palma. Parking spot was assured, the neighbors are friendly and the host was kind and helpful, with plenty of practical advice and notes. There are two beaches (Alojera and Trigo), which are approx. 15 minutes walk downhill. Playa Alojera has a local restaurant (Prisma), where we ate the best fish ever - also a recommendation given by our friendly host.

It has the best beach in La Gomera and the best views. The owner Monse is an attentive and pleasant lady. The house is old, but large, spacious, and it has soul. The house has everything for a comfortable stay (probably without a washing machine). Keep in mind that the last 8 km is quite a challenging road for experienced and confident drivers.

It wasn’t what we expected; it was so much more. It was just what we needed which was some peace and quiet along with spectacular views right outside our door. I recommend it for those who want or need to relax and disconnect. It’s a special place for sure. Glad we chose this place and were very happy with the friendly hospitality we received.

Unfortunately although we had booked a hire care we were not allowed to bring it to La Gomera so had to get a bus to Vallehermoso. The property owner very kindly arranged for a taxi to meet us at the bus stop as by then it was getting late and we had no idea how to get to the property. This was very much appreciated by us as by then we were exhausted. The place was comfortable enough but a bit chilly as it is in the north of the island. Having said that there were extra blankets provided. We were able to watch TV in English after some trial and error.

The vacation home itself is an easy 10/10. It's large, well equipped and stocked, water pressure is very good, WiFi worke great. The host is friendly and helpful. However, the profile here on Booking.com is wrong on a number of points, still unchanged at time of writing this review, so I deduct one point. But I still highly recommend this vacation home, especially if you have a rental car while you're on Gomera.

Awesome and beautiful place for people that prefer quiet remote locations. Great ocean and mountain view, especially from the area with sun beds on the roof. Very friendly host, we got freshly locally harvested papaya and bananas on arrival :) . The road to the location is quite an adventure for experience drivers that enjoy driving.

The accommodation has everything you need, better than in the pictures. The location is really beautiful. Except for the last few meters, the road is concrete, so it's fine.
