The place was very clean and cozy. Jan passed by when we arrived to welcome us and offer any help if needed. The heating system was very good and everything worked well! I had a car, so I could go downtown, if you don't, you can go to Varberg along the seafront in a very nice walk.

Very interesting property as an old prison in the old fort. Very comfartable bed. The breakfast was very good. Everything ecological and they had their own granola and their own blackberry jam. Good vegan options for those who are vegan.

Full breakfast, very esthetic and cozy and clean and homely houses. Nice restaurant with great dishes for the dinner. Great helpful stuff.

Hotell Blanka is located very centrally, with close access both to the waterfront and the main part of town. The rooms are tastefully decorated and with comfortable furniture. The owners/managers are very friendly and responsive. In our case, there was a misunderstanding with the room and the owners/managers ensured that everything was resolved to our satisfaction, going above what can be demanded or expected.

My stay at Elizabeth's enchanting place in Varberg was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped into her cozy haven, I was greeted not only by the warmth of her hospitality but also by the unexpected delight of sharing the space with a couple of charming hippopotamuses. The whimsical presence of these gentle giants in the room and the garden transformed the place into an art exhibition of its own kind. Elizabeth's artistic touch is evident in every corner, creating a harmonious blend of comfort and creativity. The rooms, adorned with unique decor, felt like a gallery, and the garden, with its resident hippos, added an element of playful surprise. This room was part of a family home and has been refurbished as a comfortable guest room with a small private bathroom and a separate entrance. Some extra foldable furniture (table; chairs) provide options depending on the guests' needs. The hosts gave me a warm welcome and were always stand by to help out while respecting my privacy as a guest. Everything I wanted to visit in town and along the coast was within walking distance.
