Located 500 metres from Abraao Beach, Canoa Abraão offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

Featuring a bar and views of sea, La Coquille is a recently renovated guest house located in Praia de Araçatiba, a few steps from Aracatiba. Breakfast was great, service was excellent, gentleman named Diego/Jiego took care of everything, got my laundry done, got a free room upgrade, had tours of the island organised. 10/10 would go again.

Situated in Praia de Araçatiba, Pousada Belas Águas features a restaurant, sea views and free WiFi, a few steps from Aracatiba and 1.5 km from Araçatibinha Beach. Beautiful room and views! Couldn’t believe how clean it was considering the Pousada is right on the beach. Lovely breakfast that you can place your order for the night before and they will either bring it to you room or set it up on the beach for you. Gabriel and his family were all so lovely and helpful, there was a bit of a language barrier but they organised a brilliant boat trip around the island which I’d highly recommend doing

Nani is an amazing host! Since I booked the room she was so attentive and helpful. The place is super clean and everything is decorated with so much love. I will definitely go back!

Located in Abraão, 600 metres from Abraao Beach and 1.5 km from Preta Beach, Suites Golfo offers free WiFi and air conditioning. we enjoyed our stay in Suites Golfo.

Featuring a patio with garden views, a garden and a bar, Fauna can be found in Praia do Bananal, close to Bananal Beach and 1.4 km from Matariz Beach. Nathalia is fantastic and a great host. The hotel is quiet, beautiful and pursues one of the best views of Ilha Grande. I went by boat and it is very close to the blue lagoon and also from Angra.

Offering garden views, Saracura is an accommodation set in Praia de Araçatiba, 300 metres from Araçatibinha Beach and 500 metres from Aracatiba. We absolutely loved our stay at Saracura! Such a beautiful and relaxing place with amazing views. We slept so well with the sound of waves. Breakfast was abundant and Maria Luiza made sure there were enough gluten-free options for me and even baked a special bread :) everything was just perfect and we hope to come back again soon!

Recanto das Flores Lofts - Ilha Grande Rj, a property with a garden, is set in Abraão, 400 metres from Abraao Beach, 1.2 km from Preta Beach, as well as 2.5 km from Abraaozinho Beach. We were super happy with our stay at Recanto das Flores! Naira made us feel extremely welcome. She even looked after and took care of one of us who started feeling sick and stayed at home while the group went out to explore the island - thank you once again! When it started raining heavily, she made sure we were safe on our planned hike and provided us with raincoats (10BR$ each). You can see that she is putting a lot of love and maintenance into the place and that really pays off :) We would come again!
