Boasting a bar and views of lake, Rivalago B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a lift. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and room service for guests. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Continental and buffet breakfast options are available every morning at the bed and breakfast. Comfortable, well appointed room. Excellent bed and bed linen. High standard of finish to decor and furniture. Huge choice at breakfast and coffee to order. Great to have parking a short walk away. The units at the bed and breakfast include air conditioning and a desk. This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!
