Richmond is a nice area to stay at during your trip to Melbourne (if you prefere to stay in less crowded areas, away from the CBD and more into were locals hang out). It hasa lot of restaurants, bars, etc. The Apartments were well located in rochmond. It was very well cared for. Facilities seemed pretty new. The room had a considerable size, with a balcony. Very nice natural lightning (with nice shades to keep light out in early morning). Quiet. We did not use the kitchenet, but it seemed very well sorted of apliances.

This is simply a fabulous hotel whose management has the rare skill of employing absolutely first-rate people. Robert at the front desk is simply the best!! The lovely lady who comes in after hours, who is studying International Relations, is a further example of the quality of the people working here to ENSURE guests have a friendly and fabulous stay. Added to that, the housekeeping staff are first rate and finally, the coffee lounge on the ground floor, Haus Espresso, served the best coffee we had in Melbourne as well as being the most friendly people. Great too for a quick snack.

They are working really hard. A lot of respect for them. Especially when have to clean the kitchen, because people ‘forgot’ to clean their pots and stuff. The Village renovated the building very nicely. You can see that they really invested in it. It looks like new. You can store your bags for free. The beds are nice and clean. Since it is an apartment one has room to move, to feel free. It has a balcony. The kitchen has all you need. Everybody can feel himself/herself at home.
