Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. From the moment I set foot in K's Hostel, I was entranced. Referring to it as merely a 'hostel' does a great disservice to its outstanding quality. Perfectly poised on the riverbank, it's adjacent to the iconic Tokaikan Former Ryokan. This connection is evident as K's Hostel gracefully integrates historical elements - from authentic wooden fittings and majestic staircases to the splendidly spacious tatami mat bedrooms which whisk you back to a bygone era. The hospitality didn't stop at the gorgeous ambiance; we were gifted two complimentary laundry tokens—a rarity even in many 4-star hotels. Every entry was met with warm, welcoming smiles. And the onsen? It's a delightful indulgence. Imagine bathing in fresh hot spring water amidst pristine facilities; and even with a full house, I often found myself enjoying the onsen in solitude. I'm eager to explore more of what K's Hostel locations have to offer, given this exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Situated in Atami and only 500 metres from Atami Sun Beach, Marina Bay Atami features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great! 4 adults and 4 kids stayed there perfectly. Apartment was clean, had plenty of towels, disposable toothbrushes and body washing sponges. The manager was super nice, and the location was very convenient. We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

Incredible, has to one of the best places I have ever stayed anywhere. The views were insane. The fact that you could use the onsen for free! The staff were super nice. The room was way bigger than expected. The views were the highlight, had to mention it twice.

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. It was a beautiful retreat that allowed you to unwind in a small coastal town. The traditional Japanese breakfast was wonderful and the onsen amenities were fantastic.

Situated within 12 km of Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival and 50 km of Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Shizuoka. Romey is an absolute legend he is one of the best hosts we have had, he made us feel right at home and feel like guests at the same time. Highly highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a fun getaway in a not so busy part of Japan, really makes it all worth it!

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Stunningly beautiful place, great service, extremely comfortable room and the onsen part was was fantastic.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. I really enjoyed my stay here! Best guesthouse in japan!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. Best accommodation in Shuzenji if you want to explore the Izu Peninsula. The hostel was amazing, the facilities were very clean and you can use them whenever you need. Ryohey was such an amazing host, he knows many good spots around Izu, he also gave me directions to get to some of them (thanks my friend). If I am around the area again I'd definitely stay here.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.
