Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

Super close to the waterfall (8min walk) Good start point to do the Rijani trail. They can help you organize it all. They arranged a trip to Sembalu for me since i was too sick to do the trekking Thanks so much ill be back!

The place is family-owned, and the owners are some of the nicest people we met in the country. They were always helpful and upbeat. When we were late to catch the sunrise at the rice fields, the owner and one of the boys surprised us and took us there with their scooters so we could make it in time. We were so touched! The food they serve is really cheap and tasty! We ate all of our meals here while in Senaru. The location is also great, you have an amazing view of the jungle from your room, and the property is situated right next to the entrance to the waterfall park, so you can go there early and enjoy the waterfall without any other people there. We highly recommend staying here!

The property is set on the side of a hill with a view of the valley. each cottage has its own bathroom, porch, and huge windows to gaze out upon the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast is included and was simple and delicious. I would certainly recommend staying here as it was the perfect place to relax in the mountains.
