Offering barbecue facilities and quiet street view, Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group is located in Hakuba, 43 km from Nagano Station and 44 km from Zenkoji Temple. Very clean and modern. Private onsen in the property is the best. Highly recommended for a big family.

With Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable in 9 km, Sakka Sanso features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Very lovely stay, though it’s small it has everything you need. Very clean and well maintained. Room is of good size and view of the forest. Many details in the hotel. Breakfast were nice too, they have Japanese style and western style in rotation. Though the bathroom is shared, each family can book their own session. Family owned and they are all very friendly. Also it’s very close to the Sakka Slope.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. The breakfast that was provided was really good and different variety was provided each morning. The fresh baked break with homemade jam was amazing! The property had two (2) onses that were available to use.

Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets are situated in Echoland, a popular nightlife site where more than 30 bars and restaurants can be found. The property offers free in-room WiFi and on-site parking. We loved that we had an ample amount of space. The chalet was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of three. We also loved the washer and dryer and how close it was to various restaurants and shops in Echoland. More importantly, through messaging within the booking app the staff at the hotel went above and beyond for us. They were exceptionally communicative in assisting us after my husband left a bag on the Shinkansen from Tokyo. They also provided a free shuttle ride to and from the bus stop which was great. The drivers were so nice

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, Pension Belnia offers cosy accommodations and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. We really enjoyed the staff in the hotel. Yutaka and his wife were very nice and made our stay here very pleasant.

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. Very clean and comfortable home.

Situated just a 5-minute walk away from Happo One Ski Resort in Hakuba, ZEN CHALETS Hakuba offer fully equipped chalets with a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. We were conveniently able to get rides from the staff to go to the market, and get to/from the bus station.
