Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was fabulous , the service and food was great. They couldn’t be more helpful and the view to the river was stunning.

Really beautiful lodge nestled on the banks of the river. The room was large and very comfortable with a great view of the river where we could sit and watch a family of 5 Hippos just below our room. The bar and lounge area overlooking the river was very relaxing and the food was of a very high standard. We took a morning river cruise with Buzz and it was very special seeing many different bird species up close, crocs and of course hippos just a few feet away from us. Buzz was an exceptionally good tour guide with a deep understanding of the river and such a friendly approach. The entire team of staff couldn’t have been more friendly and fun to be around, spoiling me in my birthday with a very special birthday song!
