It's the most peaceful and tranquil place you'll ever find. The staff is great and super friendly and helpful. The food is super good. The beds are comfy, it's clean, there are friendly cats and dogs on the property and plenty of plants in the garden. There's a dedicated yoga/gym place (although the gym is not super equipped) and a short hiketrail on the property where you almost certainly will encounter some monkeys.

Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ecolodge Blue Morpho is located 8 km from Cardenas, only 150 metres from the shore of Lago Nicaragua. Great place to rest and enjoy cool refreshing air. Friendly staff who made some wonderful meals. Only a short walk to the beach.

Situated in San Juan del Sur Bay, Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock has a children’s playground, outdoor pool, and a private beach area 1.5 km away. The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Finca del Sol Eco Lodge an Eco lodge on an organic farm is set in Santa Cruz in the Ometepe Region. Free WiFi is available. 10/10 !! Miguel the lodge manager is so helpful, very accommodating and gave great advice. Great location for the volcano hike, some local restaurants 10/15 minutes away. The lodge was fabulous! Had everything we needed and eco means eco which was super refreshing.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Totoco Eco-Project is located in Balgue. Free WiFi access is available in public areas of this lodge. The staff went above and beyond, very welcoming and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious everyday! The location was beautiful every step of the way, from the road up, the paths, the pool, the buildings, the relaxing pool and the amazing view. You must either get up the steep, rocky road to Totoco with a 4x4 vehicle (not a scooter) or walk with your bags. We ended up renting an atv and it was so fun!
