Quail Rest is located on Totara Peak Station which is a working High Country Station situated on the shores of Lake Benmore 22kms from Twizel township. Free WiFi and private parking is included. Extremely convenient and accommodating check in process for a late evening arrival. Wonderful accommodation that exceeded my expectations. I just needed a quiet place to rest before my next morning adventure but on an upcoming couples getaway I am planning this will be top of the list!

Just a 2-minute walk from beautiful Lake Tekapo, Lexi's Lodge features mountain views and a private garden with outdoor furniture. Hosts were amazing and so lovely to deal with! We loved every bit of our stay! We ended being snowed in and they gratefully let us stay while the road got unblocked… our stay was magical and we would definitely love to come back! Fantastic place, clean, comfortable with very friendly hosts. Will never forget the starry night in this region. If you're into stargazing, then this place and the region will blow you away. We enjoyed our time in this cottage very much!
