Nice small superclean hotel in Leoben with basic rooms. Bathroom was OK, but bed was very small. Also breakfast was good, but nothing exceptional, but who expects exceptional breakfast in 3-star hotel anyway. Staff was helpful and very polite. Good value for money I think, but I wouldn't chose it for holidays.

This was the best apartment we ever stayed in: modern, clean and comfortable. Good quality bed like in a five star hotel, fluffy towels and even bathrobes. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and free coffee, milk for coffee, condiments for salad, jam and butter. A supermarket is some 200 meters away. The hostess Tamara is personable and makes you feel welcome.

Clean and quiet. Very comfy beds. There was great water pressure in the shower and the temperature was nice and hot. Excellent location too! Would definitely recommend! The breakfast options were perfect
Leoben is a small, pretty town. My hotel Gastof Zum Grief had a superb location, literally 2 minutes from the main square and right by the river. It’s easy to walk around Leoben which has many bars and restaurants in and off the main square. Lovely country walks by the river and also a shopping centre in the main square. I ate in San Marco, Trattoria Roma, Zum Greif, Stadt Meierei, and Schwarzer Adler - all very good.

Leoben is more a town than a city, even if it is the second city of Steiermark; one day is more than enough to visit the city itself, but in the neighborhood there are some places that worth a visit: Asia Spa, 5 minutes walking from the city center, the Ice Arena, Präbichl for downhill skiing, Abenteuer Erzberg to visit the mine, Redbull Ring for MotoGP and F1 fans, Voest Alpine Leoben/Donawitz has free tour for tourists.
Leoben also has a small disco right in the main square and in that area there are also good places to have a meat(Arkandenhof is my suggetsed one)

Leoben is a small and nice city in Steiermark.
Leoben is a small and nice city in Steiermark. Its main square is really gorgeous as the tower and the bridge on the river. Nice coffee spots and restaurants.
The city is also famous to be the city of the most famous Austrian beer, Gösser. Not far from the city center you can find the company which includes a museum ("Gösseum") and a cozy Gästhaus where you can eat good dishes and drink different kind of the national beer.
Leoben is a city you can visit in one day.

It was Advent and the city square had a charming Christmas market. The city centre is all reserved for pedestrians, great to stroll, admire architecture. It is quite a historical city, lots to discover and also good food and famous Austrian Wines!

Lovely old town with a lot of mining history.
Lovely old town with a lot of mining history. Close to Eisenerz (Erzberg Rodeo and Hauly tours of iron ore mine).
Must visit is Zum Zellergassl - brilliant grotto for quiet drinks on the bank of the river.
A locked room was available for my bike and the staff helped me to carry my luggage to my room. The room was modern and looked like it had been newly renovated.
Breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and really attentive. Fresh brewed coffee was served by staff. Everything, which helped to prepare a biobiker for a long distance trip, was available with good quality.
The hotel is located near the Gösser brewery, which offers a good selection of beers and regional food at moderate prices.
I would stay there again next time.
A simple apartment, but with everything you need. The need to reserve a place came unexpectedly (I didn't arrive in Italy before check-in at the hotel there at 20:30). We quickly explained the location of the keys and the parking space via whatsapp. Comfortable beds. There is a good store across the street, so you can also get groceries in the morning. As it turned out, it is also possible to park in front of the store.
The ASIA spa area is super, the saunas are very well with the sauna seances were pretty cool. The adult pool, that was outside is good, because it wasn’t cold,it was enough warm. The dinner quality is good, gourmet. Dog friendly hotel, they prepared extra snacks for my dog in the room, that was nice. :) Zigi, the receptions member and Arpad from the restaurant were very nice, helpful.

The hotel was beautifully and artistically renovated with very pleasant grounds. Lots of artistic items and artworks as well.
The breakfast was outstanding and a wonderful work of art itself, prepared by Martin the hotel Manager and chef.
Martin is a really nice and helpful person with a great personality.
The price was very good value.
The hotel itself is small, but I really liked the design and atmosphere. It's very cozy and comfortable here. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. I especially liked the breakfasts with fresh fruits and vegetables, crispy buns and delicious yoghurt. Next time I'm in Leoben, I will definitely stay here.
very nice location in the city centre, a historic building, the apartment is well equipped
great possibility for group activities (tabletop games and such)
The host is very communicative, responding usually within less than half an hour.
If I ever go back to Leoben, for sure I will use this apartment again.

The parking was free in the yard of the hotel. (Despite there is no available info on the parking during the automated check-in and the hotel's booking.com page mysteriously only says "charges may be applicable".)
The location of the hotel is both easily accessble and absolutely central.
