Breakfast was unavailable there on the premises but there were many cafe's just up the road so it really was not a problem. The room we had was huge in the bathroom area but small and cosy for the sleeping area.
Located on the banks of Murwillumbah's Tweed River, this motel is ideally positioned for swimming, rowing, water skiing and fishing. It offers rooms with free WiFi and free continental breakfast.

This is a very old motel which shows, and needs a new building. I think the staff are trying to do the best they can. For example, the out door area was dusty , uneven concrete and pavers with weeds through it There is no hand basin in the shower rooms and so you have to clean your teeth, wash your hands after toileting and wash your dishes in the same sink, not very hygienic by today's standards. The staff were welcoming and pleasant, so no complaints there.
Gallery Motel is located in Murwillumbah, in the Tweed Valley close to area beaches, the rainforest and Mount Warning. The motel features free WiFi access. Gallery Motel is a Mediterranean-style...

The facility was spotless and we were the 2nd party to stay in one of their newly renovated rooms. Susie, the owner is such a lovely person who takes great pride in her facility and staff!

Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday . The cafes in the main street are very good. Choice of at least three good ones, and excellent Thai/ Vietnamese and Indian foods available at restaurants there. The Regional Gallery a few klms out on the edge of town is a must visit. Brilliant exhibitions, including Margaret Ollies' home reconstructed.

The pub wasn't rowdy and it has a great vibe. Central to everything.

Excellent friendly service at check in, convenient location as whilst a few hills it was a lovely 10-15 minute walk into town to the local shops, pubs, town pool and parks.
Room was older and the bathroom was a little sad however all was very clean and we particularly liked the bathroom products that were available as well as tea bags and cookies.
Fantastic Value and a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean room that looked as though it has been recently refurbished.
We had a superior queen room that had a kitchenette and a sitting area.
Meals in the bistro were good value with 15 meals at $15 and excellent quality.
The bar staff were friendly and attentive.
Good vibe for old and young, highly recommended and will stay next time we travel through
HInt: it was cheaper by $30 to book online than directly with the hotel
Comfortable clean room.
Outdoor areas are exceptional.
Management & cleaners are exceptional. Our key was left in a lock box and mints were left in our room with AC running and a light on as we were arriving late with children.
New management are doing beautiful things to the place.
This is our first preference for overnight stays in Murwillumbah. And it's the thoughtful staff that make this place worth a stay.
Thank You Murwillumbah Motor Inn.
This historical hotel / pub with hints of Art Deco pink exterior has been renovated inside with stylish modern furnishing and fittings. High ceilings, comfortable bed and warm room stay in winter with a fabulous hot shower after a ride on the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Used the hotel's restaurant with a good menu selection and 4 of us had a delicious dinner. They don't offer breakfast so we went to a local cafe across the road.
The Croft Bed & Breakfast in Murwillumbah was a much-needed break away from the city. Karen is a suoerb host, highlighted by a beautiful cheese/meat platter, brekky of fresh eggs/bacon etc. Surroundings so peaceful and enjoyed company of their family of three cows.
The apartment was beautifully clean, nicely furnished but the bed and linen exquisite. Had not slept so peacefully in a long time. Many thanks Karen. 💚🌸
We stayed in the studio for 3 nights.
The property is in a delightful rural location with views to Mount Warning. You can wander round the grounds and look at the animals and gardens.
A cook-yourself breakfast is supplied with a wide choice of quality ingredients including fresh eggs, local bacon, and fruit.
Just seven minutes from restaurants and shops in Murwillumbah and 30 minutes to the coast at Tweed Heads.
Good location, central to the township. Bistro downstairs offered a good selection of meals and a free beverage for the hotel stay. Nicely renovated bathroom, decent-sized kitchenette which was well stocked but mostly in darkness as the ceiling light is too far away and standing at the kitchenette blocks the light.
Staff were friendly.
Really enjoyed our stay here - it was very close to the Rail Trail, which was our primary reason for staying here and coming to the region. The hotel check in and out was easy, and they let us store our bikes inside the room too. I would stay here again.
Great little motel and amazing location right on the river. We stayed here as it is just 20mins to the Blues Festival and is very close to great cafes and restaurants in Murwillumbah. We have stayed here before and will stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. There were pleasant surprises - a welcome platter and the generous breakfast supplies. The Croft is wonderfully quiet, in a supremely scenic part of the Tweed River and access to Murwillumbah is very simple.
The location was good, in the main street with easy access to everything in town. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and is comfortable. Good dining options (except breakfast, not provided) at reasonable prices.
Great value for money including continental breakfast.
loved all the memorabillia in the breakfast room.
Room was very adequate- was great to see it and Murwillumbah up and running after the floods.
We were in Murwillumbah to ride the rail trail. The motel is very close to the trail and was the perfect base for this activity. The room was generously proportioned, comfortable and good value.
Clean room, clean bathroom, clean bedding. Excellent meals and drinks downstairs. Great location in the heart of Murwillumbah. Loved our stay and will come again.
