Great little studio for a place to relax at night after a busy weekend course. Very close to the main street, easy walking distance to the shops and cafes. Had all the amenities that I needed and the bed was very comfortable. The two pet dogs were adorable!

Within 1hr 30 min of both major inland regional cities of Ballarat and Bendigo, as well as Melbourne. Kyneton has significant early 1900's commercial and residential buildings, local and botanical gardens and parks, an excellent passenger rail service and is adjacent to the freeway between Melbourne and Bendigo. Serving a mainly pastoral area, the town itself is compact, well laid out, with good paths and roads. Good standard restaurants and cafes, as well as RSL Club and hotel bistros. Great base for visiting vineyards and wineries , regional and national parks, scenic walks, cycling, close to Hanging Rock (film 'Picnic at Hanging Rock').

The cottage is comfortable with all modern facilities.
The cottage is comfortable with all modern facilities. It is easy walking distance to local shops. Off street parking is provided as well as breakfast options. Beds were warm and pillows soft. I had the best sleep that I have had in months.
Situated in Piper Street, visitors can see the heritage buildings of the town in easy walking distance and the many places to eat.

Our stay at Saint Agnes homestead was truly wonderful!
Our stay at Saint Agnes homestead was truly wonderful! So relaxing and only a short walk into town. We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping, cafés, bars and restaurants that Kyneton has to offer. Also an amazing selections of homemade pie’s, pastries and other delicious goodies at Piper Street Food Co. We also had a lovely relaxing afternoon at Red Hare which is a winery just out of town. I can highly recommend this town as a weekend away from Melbourne.

Disappointed that good restaurants were not available on a Monday night and open gardens for the daffodil festival were only open on the weekend. Ditto for the museum. We went during the week. Wouldn't do that again.

An attractive historic town with all facilites.
An attractive historic town with all facilites. Plenty Of eating out options and cafes. It also has a beautiful botanical garden and river walk. It is well positioned just off the freeway to access other attractive historic towns, and the countryside is beautiful. The area also has many quality wineries.
Lovely touches in the room. Eg. single-cup coffee plunger and fixings, cutlery and plates, toaster, and yummy biscuits (replaced whenever they service the room). Large and very comfy bed with electric blanket. Decent and silent AC/heater. Plenty of parking. The moteliers and staff are friendly and considerate. They really did go above and beyond to accommodate and help me during my stay in Kyneton.
Stunning property, helpful and generous hosts, top quality in every way. We loved our stay so much. The room was so spacious and beautifully appointed, and sitting having a drink on the veranda overlooking the rose garden was heaven. Breakfast was amazing. Close to everything. So lucky to have found and stayed at Kyneton Manor.
Self catering. There was a toaster etc so pretty easy to do this plus there are great cafes in Kyneton. Spoil yourself . Theres a microwave and coffee machine. The studio was perfect and beautifully decorated. Of the bonus was the dogs Hali and Charlie. There if you need to pat .... easy to walk into town . Comfy bed.
The location is excellent as it is situated right in the town of Kyneton in walking distance to cafe's, restaurant"s, pubs and shops. It is a very clean and spacious flat and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also there is parking right behind the flat at no extra cost.
The only negative is that their is no wifi.
This was a wonderful and beautifully presented house/home. The gardens were fantastic! Every detail was considered. We will definitely stay here again and also recommend to all our friends. Our grandmother, her 8 brothers and her parents lived here in Kyneton in the late 1800's .
Darcy's Cottage was just lovely. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and soft pillows. Electric blankets were most appreciated. Breakfast options were wonderful. One could not find fault with this accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kyneton.
great location opposite the botanic gardens, comfy beds, nice and quiet and about a 750m walk into Kyneton. bathroom was new and has a nice big bath (though we didnt have time to use)
Very clean and comfortable, exceeded our expectations for a motor inn. Facilities are in excellent condition. Highly recommended for short stay to tour around. Lots to see on Kyneton!
Very convenient location. Quiet, comfortable and ideal for one or two night stay.
Short distance to all of Kyneton's cafes, restaurants and hotels etc.
Very friendly host.
