The attached restaurant and bar was convenient. However we had to wait over an hour for main meals. There was a tour group in before us which obviously overloaded the kitchen. They appeared short staffed as the staff who were there were very busy, often running between orders.

Very nice bed and breakfast on a cool property. Loved all the wallabies and rabbits that visited several times a day to our picture window view from bread. Great breakfast. Great location close to an IGA and the ferry to Maria Island. The host Mary was very pleasant.

Better than expected as we rarely stay in cabins/caravan parks. Good kitchen facilities; parking at the door; separate toilet; comfortable bed and good heating. Close to shops and wharf etc.

Used Orford as a convenient stop for Maria Island Ferry and a half day trip to Freycinet National Park. Because we were on the road at mealtimes didnt eat at hotel restaurant. Enjoyed the coastal scenery and even the inland rural spots when we got lost.

Orford was a nice stay for us.
Orford was a nice stay for us. If you want to visit places at the upper parts of Tasmania, then this is a perfect place. The place where we stayed was also quieter. At one side you will visit Cradle Mountains, zoo and on the other side you will visit Jacob's Ladder. Roads and nature views are beautiful and green.
There are couple of restaurants in the city. We ate at Kaffir Lime Thai restaurant, and it was delicious.
A nice place to stay indeed.

We took the ferry from Triabunna to Maria Island for a day visit, a lovely experience. We then stayed in Orford in order to run/walk the parkrun at Our Park on the Saturday morning. It is a lovely course along the sea front with great views and very friendly volunteers.
Well renovated and comfortable. The shower was Excellent. The seperate games area was Great. We were happy to have our pups with us and they Loved the yard. The boat ramp was not too far away and easy to access. The kitchen was well appointed and everything worked. There was an IGA just down the road and Orford is a Lovely quiet town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, shared with a group of friends. Room was very comfortable - spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen. Bedroom adequate but cramped. Needed another bedside lamp.
Barbeque area put to good use.
Restaurant dinner meal and service was very acceptable.
Intend to visit again for a longer stay.
We loved everything about Orford’s Sanda House it was impeccably clean and wonderfully cute and cosy. The hosts were absolutely lovely and welcoming, and our breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, made all the more delicious by the fact a lot was home grown or sourced locally.
Room was large, with all amenities and bed extremely comfortable. Superb breakfast homemade by Mary, who is the most attentive host with many nice touches (chocolates, fresh fruit, lovely thank you note!). Orford is a great base to visit Maria Island (10 mins drive to Triabunna wharf).
Unit was large and well equipped. Swimming pool, games room, spa were all good. Great view. Close to orford. Meals were nice. Restaurant clean and staff were mainly good. Beds comfortable. Good bathrooms. Double garage was awesome. Great little deck. Cooking facilities.
Orford Prosser just felt like home to us. Simply great, it had everything we needed, it was super clean and the beds were comfy. For the price we paid, that was the best place we stayed at in Tassie. Close to Maria Island Ferry too. Highly recommend!
Good location for travel to Triabunna for a Maria Island Cruise. Directly opposite the local IGA for supplies and cafe where we had an excellent meal of fish and chips. The local pub/bistro was also within walking distance - about 15-20 minutes.
It was in a very quiet location. So much so I think we were the only ones in the hotel section for the 1 night we stayed. The restaurant was lovely, pizzas were great. Pool was nice, spa was okay seemed dirty though. Nice surrounds on the water.
Cosy apartment despite being dated in the decor & perfect for travelling with my parents along the east coast of Tassie. We all had our own space being two storey & great fully functional kitchen with a supermarket directly across the road.
Great value for money. Didn't realise it was attached to the Hotel and we could eat next door where we had 2 good meals.
Orford is a bit out of the way and we weren't expecting too much. This was a bonus.
Rooms were clean and had the basic amenities needed to make the stay enjoyable. The hotel was situated close to walking tracks and shops. Staff were helpful and had a good menu.
A small but very comfortable, bright room, with a little balcony looking out towards the river. Recently renovated by the look of it. A short walk into the hotel for dinner.
The house is very spacious and comfortable.
Both the queen bed and the single beds were comfortable.
There is a full kitchen with everything needed to cook for a family.
Room 17 was ideal for light and isolation for daytime painting and finishing. The girls cleaning were very thorough and obliging, great workers for the hotel.
