The place is great, you really feel like at home, you have everything at hand, spotless clean, modern and very nice furniture, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, very close to Maastricht, a lor of possibilities to visit the area. But what really exceeded any expectations is the hosts. They took care of everything for us, amazing breakfast, great value for the money. We traveled a lot around Europe and the world, but we never encountered so far such a careful host, for sure will be visiting again.

Riemst or better, Kanne as this part of the city is so close to Netherlands that its hard to say where the frontier is. This is also the reason that there are just two or three places to eat (Snack, Friture and Café).
No bakery, no butcher, of course no supermarket, no public swimming pool.
Whats nice is the short bike ride to Maastricht via Mergelweg, where "Auto is te gast" (Cars are allowed but bikers have more rights).

Riemst is a small town in Belgium situated approximately 20 minutes drive from Maastricht in the Netherlands. We chose this town as we were attending an Andrew Rieu concert the following day and there was no inexpensive accommodation available in Maastricht for our additional night's stay. There was very little to do in Riemst on a Sunday morning, so we headed to Maastricht.
The room was huge ànd the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was also big with a large walk-in shower. We ate at the hotel's restaurant just across the road and had a delicious meal. There was a wedding reception at the restaurant so the staff were very busy but still looked after us. Breakfast was great with a wide range of meats, cheeses, cereal, fruit, pastries, bread and bacon and eggs. Overall we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
In quiet village with plenty of parking. Room and en suite newly fitted out and pristine although our twin room may cause a very tall person a problem because of sloping ceiling. Friendly owner who cooks food in the excellent atmospheric restaurant across the road from the hotel. Upmarket meals are good value but check opening days on website. Breakfast was also 1st class.
Nicely located close to Maastricht. We had spacious room with big terrace and one of the loveliest (and biggest) hotel bathrooms. Very welcoming staff, delicious and nicely presented dinner with interesting local food and drink. They are still renovating some parts of the hotel, so it will apparently be even nicer.
The personal Touch to this establishment is absolutely amazing. Our hostess Sissi was our first person to meet at the property and we felt as welcome as at our own home.Little gift bags ,fresh bread and more to get us going for a lovely few days in Riemst.
Hotel is situated in beautifully renovated house. Spacious room with comfy beds.
Breakfast came with a nice selection of pastries and bread - and sparkling wine (maybe because it was Sunday).
Nice little hotel with everything you might need in the hotel room. Renovations in the rooms are quite new. Breakfast is standard, the staff is super friendly. Big free parking.
A very pleasant hotel with all the neccessary comforts. Very kind personnel. We could put our bikes in a garage with charging possibility. Perfect for cycling tourists.
