Room is spacious, the mini kitchen was a great addition. We got a high floor with a window view to the city which was lovely specially at night. The free underground parking was definitely a plus. Breakfast was good, I just felt it should have had bacon, but there wasn't for any of the 2 days we spent there. One thing to notice though is that if you expect to walk downtown that is not very close. Make sure you have a look at the distance before or you can also find good parking downtown which costs around $2 for the entire day on weekends!

On the south bank of the Ottawa River, the Canadian capital Ottawa is a grand symbol of what the country stands for: bilingualism, civic pride and wonderful vistas.
Facing Langevin Block (the prime minister’s office) is the city’s most famous landmark - the Centre Block parliament building. Its tall central tower and circular parliamentary library make a great photograph from Gatineau across the river, which is joined to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Rideau Canal by a series of locks. Skating on the frozen canal is a highlight of the huge Ottawa Winterlude festival.
The city’s history is detailed in Bytown Museum by the locks. Opposite is peaceful Major’s Hill Park, overlooked by Château Laurier, a historic hotel named after a former prime minister. Also named after him is Laurier House, his seat of office. Other important national buildings include the Royal Canadian Mint, Supreme Court, and Rideau Hall, the Queen’s official residence when in the country.
The business district and Ottawa Convention Centre are in Downtown, and nearby shopping options include Rideau Mall and ByWard Market - the oldest farmers’ market in Canada and the area with the best nightlife.
Ottawa accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury hotels with pools, B&Bs with parking and apartments near the train station, all easily accessible from MacDonald-Cartier Airport.

We made the mistake of going to Ottawa in April as many places were closed until May. We made the most of it and went to other museums and were so pleased. The Diefenbunker was incredible and I highly recommend that as a MUST visit! Beautiful days made for great walks- city is safe and clean. Exceptional restaurants. Will visit again- in the summer!

I loved Ottawa! Such a clean and friendly city. It's a little quiet at times and in certain areas, but just make sure to look for the lively areas like Byward Market, Westboro/Hintonburg, and Bank Street. Transit is pretty good. Lots of great restaurants.

A city full of fascinating museums and government-related buildings, many of which you can tour.
Ottawa originally wasn't really on my destination list (a friend told me that stopping over for 1 day would be enough), but surprisingly I spent 3 days in the city and feel like I still had plenty left to see. You can tour buildings on Parliament Hill for free with advance reservation (eg: House of Commons, House of Lords, Supreme Court). There are also a lot of excellent museums like the Ingenium (science), Canadian Museum of History just across the river in Gatineau, National Gallery of Canada (art), and Royal Canadian Mint, just to name a few.
A great place to learn more about Canada, what it means to be Canadian, and gain a lot of cultural and sociological insights.

I loved Ottawa and I can contrast it with Montreal (which I did not like that much). Ottawa is a bit smaller, a bit cleaner, a bit streamline (aka you can find things much easier) and everybody speaks English (unlike Montreal)...
PS. If you like history or tanks, I recommend the Canadian War Museum...
This is a great place to stay. Why just have a hotel room when you can have a suite? The suite was very comfortable with a separate bedroom and a useful kitchen area should you want to take a break from eating out all the time. The location, if not in the middle of downtown, was close with a short walk to the canal that gives a very pleasant short walk leading down to the parliament area. Nice balcony to sit on.
This is a brand new hotel. The hotel, hotel facilities, and rooms were well appointed. Everything was very clean. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good quality, hot food and fresh fruit. The location worked for us. Many restaurants nearby, downtown Ottawa about 30 mins. The airport is literally minutes away.
Excellent hotel and located very close to downtown Ottawa.
Hotel is very modern with alot of facilities.
Beautiful view of the city from room.
Breakfast was nice. The room TV also had lots of stations to watch and the room ambience was top notch.
There is an ice Making machine available for use.
Walking distance to many tourist attractions.
I absolutely loved staying at LIV Extended Stay. It had the feeling of being in a hotel, but also staying in a modern condo at the same time. All of the amenities were practically new and the apartment was very comfortable. The convenience of being located in downtown Ottawa, including a short walk from Chinatown was also an added bonus.
it was the best hotel we stayed in while in Canada
the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was amazing. the bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel is located right in the center.
breakfast was very good
thanks for the robe and slippers, it was unexpected surprise!)
The view is great. Nice modern decor. Got a feel for living downtown Ottawa, didn't feel like a hotel. I could see myself living in a condo like this. Bed was super comfy the bedroom was nice and minimalist. I fell asleep fast here!
The room was excellent, service was excellent.
When in Ottawa I prefer to stay at hotels with ample parking, and this hotel has plenty, One reason I'd rather not stay near the downtown.
All in all, the value is well worth the stay.
Location is perfect for us. Easy walking distances to downtown or even Hintonburg. Breakfasts that are included in hotel rate are excellent. Lots of choices and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Location is fine if you have a car. I am familiar with the Ottawa region and I much preferred to stay in this area as it is quieter than downtown. With a car, it's only about 10 min to get anywhere.
The inn is within walking distance of downtown Ottawa- it is charming and very comfortable and the staff is great - breakfast is exceptional - we’d like to have been able to stay longer
Comfortable, clean, spacious room. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown Ottawa, and it is within walking distance of just about anything you would want to do.
The location was great close to downtown and the staff was very friendly and warm. Hotel is sparkling clean. parking with the free electric charger for electric cars.
My king room was spacious, modern and clean. The bed was very comfy. I appreciated the complimentary bathrobe and slippers too! Well situated in downtown Ottawa.
