Room was like a little cottage. It had everything you need, but you could feel comfortable in there. Enjoyed it very much. Whenever I interacted with the staff they were polite and helpful. I will come back again in a heartbeat.

The scenic view from our room and the hot tub on deck was amazing… it was nice we were able to cook our own meals and for those travelling light, being able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner could be a great option, based on the location of the property.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

While vacationing in Victoria we travelled north to a quiet & private cottage with a lot of amenities (Ashling Cottage - 1875 Ashling Road, Qualicum Beach, V9K 2V1, Canada) which had a full kitchen with all the utensils, plates, glasses, cookware you need (we'd stocked up at a grocery store en route) we enjoyed our stay and visited the nearby woodsy Qualicum Falls; we'd love to stay for a week next time.
Everything about the hotel, restaurant and room was even more beautiful in person than in the photos.
The bed and room was very comfortable. I had a beautiful beach view from my window.
The staff was wonderful. I felt they went above and beyond making my stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend, and I definitely will be staying there again.
The location was perfect for visiting this part of the coastline as well as being in close proximity to the village of Qualicum Beach.
We greatly enjoyed chatting with the hosts who gave us lots of useful local knowledge and tips on how to take advantage of all the things available close by.
When we arrived at the hotel were greeted with a bag containing our check in details, information about the hotel and a few goodies. A really nice way to welcome us. We loved the history behind the hotel and the uniqueness of each room. The staff were very friendly and informative.
I love having the view of the ocean, the location is perfect. close to town, places to walk or go for hikes.
The staff was so good, very friendly and easy to contact if anything was needed.
I will defiantly be staying again in the future.
Thank you again Sand Pebbles Inn!

I would absolutely recommend this lovely apartment. The host was very nice. The apartment was impressively clean and had all the comforts the two of us could ask for. Convenient and quiet location. It was perfect for our 2 day get-a-way to Qualicum Beach!
This property was beautiful! I love the look of the hotel. The view was incredible, My favorite of any hotel I’ve stayed in! We saw whales surfacing as we woke up and it was just an overall lovely place to stay and wake up at
Updated roadside mo/hotel right across from the beach and with an excellent German restaurant right next door.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Great HD TV with cable. Scrupulously clean!
The staff, the food- best filet mignon I’ve ever had. It felt like we were in and old European hotel. It even had keys instead of fobs :) The hotel looks onto the golf course so the view is nice.
Amazing view over the beach. Position of the hotel against the cliff meant it kept cool through the afternoon while the daytime highs were over 30 degC, as it was shaded from late morning
I liked that this room was bigger with more amenities than a regular hotel room. It was quite and private. It was funky in a old hippie sort of way, like staying at a friend's home.
