We traveled to Scotstown for the solar eclipse. The location was excellent and within walking distance of a park where we watched the eclipse with others. There is also an Asian bistro, small grocery store, and gas station all within walking distance. There are many hiking trails nearby, and we also enjoyed driving to Lac Megantic and back.
Christophe was a gracious host and served breakfast each morning, including homemade yogurt. The B&B is spacious with several different seating areas for you to relax, enjoy the fire, read, or converse with other guests.

The accommodation itself was wonderful (once I figured out where it was). It was clean, modern, and spacious. Although I didn't need it at the time of year, it was a nice touch to have an electric fireplace. The kitchen had several small appliances and everything I needed. The patio doors look out to the forest, and it was quiet, peaceful, and restful. There was a grill and fire pit, so everything you need to spend the evenings outside. It was also nice to relax in the pool at the end of the day. The studio was basement level of a cabin with an upstairs unit, but it felt very private. I would recommend this as a place to stay, especially if you are visiting the Astrolab.
