Staff was pleasant. Old property that has been renovated so floors are new and mattresses were ok but the frames were old and made a terrible noise every time you moved.

Beds were super comfy, even the pullout couch bed!! Breakfast was decent, a little lacking in imagination but it got the job done. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great location convenient to Niagara and Niagara on the lake. Property borders a scenic canal and Park area.

We really enjoyed waking along the old canal trail ,= a minute from the hotel , also sitting in one of the chairs provided, at water's edge watching the Niagara Rowing Club go by., so relaxing.

A great mid-sized town filled with friendly people and in the middle of a wonderful touristic area mixing the beauty of natural trails and more mundane pleasures such as vineyards, the quaint touristic charm of Niagara-on-the-Lake and, of course, the famous Niagara Falls.

The toilet was clogged we waited 3 hours to get fixed.
The toilet was clogged we waited 3 hours to get fixed.
at the Residence was a Religious Indi Party and they cooked on our floor ( terrible curry smell) all night. Lot of people back and forward to eat 🙄.
Bad experience!!
The apartment was perfect for the needs of my sister and me with two bedrooms. It's new and has a full kitchen, a well-stocked coffee corner, and there were water bottles in the refrigerator. The host was very friendly and helpful in getting us settled. We were visiting family in Welland, but the drive to Niagara Falls was easy even during tourist season, it only took about 20 minutes. Well worth the savings.
We just needed a reasonable place to for a quick stay as we were doing the Welland triathlon on the morning. It has a full size fridge, so great for our needed nutrition for the race (being able to freeze water). Check in was smooth and friendly. TV was a nice touch- wasn't expecting that for the residence.
June 2022: The hotel was very close to the site of the race (Welland International Flatwater Center). There is a walk/run/bike pathway along the canal behind the hotel. It is easily accessible. You're allowed to swim and canoe/kayak in the canal, great for children. Just be aware that there are no lifeguards.
The breakfast had a little for everyone's preference. I think they did the best they could with the circumstances of no breakfast room available yet. I like the coffee and tea bar accessible all the time. It was nice to have a cup after long drive and it was nice and hot.
The price was better than any other accommodation in the city. The dorm is larger than a regular hotel room with a kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave), two bedrooms (a small TV, desk, and double bed in each), and a bathroom with a standup shower.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, gave the hotel a much more homely feel. For example, they lent us a toaster and kettle which aren't normally available in the rooms.
Very comfortable beds.
Plenty of room and loads of storage.
There was a small pond by the hotel that was a bonus to the location. It was close to the highway and a Walmart. The continental breakfast was good. The pool was good for families with small children. It has a fitness center.
I would give it 2 1/2 stars. It is cheap and clean and the breakfast was better than I expected. Great location, with a Starbucks across from it as well as one of the most popular restaurants in Welland.
I was aware that this was like a dorm room and there were no utensils or other simple amenities present. This was a low-cost, no frills, clean room that was also cheaper than other surrounding hotels.
It was nice hotel if you want economic trip to Niagara… the hotel have good bed, all necessary things and breakfast option too… the hotel is beside Toyota car showroom so security is up to mark
Continental breakfast included fresh homemade waffles. Lots of variety for the family to choose from. Clean room with laminate flooring. Variety of restaurant options and close to the hotel
Very large rooms. Staff very helpful, had a problem with 1 of the televisions upon arrival and maintenance man was excellent! He is the best! Quiet setting. Lots of T.V. channels.
