This cozy little tree house was so cool! We stayed in one of the suspended tree houses on the property. My boyfriend and I loved it 🙂 It was perfectly located by all the waterfalls in the area we wanted to hit and it was an amazing price for two nights. Aside from not having hot water in the cabin, it was perfect for what we needed during this hiking part of our trip. The showers are very cold but the adventures were pretty sweaty and the days are hot so it was a nice relief. The owner is an older gentleman and he was so friendly and you can tell he loves taking care of the property!
I would say, as someone who is a light sleeper, be aware that a lot of dogs roam the area (pretty typical for Costa Rica, especially rural areas) and I was awoken a lot by barking dogs through out both nights. I still would have stayed there all over again knowing that info but I think it’s a good precaution to know before booking. The property is also up the road a little ways on some pretty intense gravel that’s not paved. If you have a small car, take caution. We have a 4x4 so it wasn’t a big deal for us going over big rocks.

Yorleny was an amazing host. She was very responsive and proactive when we requested something.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s a quick drive to Paraíso Manantiales, Blue Falls and Catarata del Toro.
The price was the best we found around the area and the cabin exceeded our expectations.
You will have your own small private cabin with your private bathroom and the best views of Bajos del Toro.
The place looks much better in person than on the pictures.
You can arrange breakfast with Yorleny and it’s so yummy! It was $5 USD per person which was a great price.
The family has a beautiful and affectionate dog which we loved!
If we come back to Costa Rica will stay again here!
