Ingelfingen is a small, quiet town but filled with architecturally interesting buildings that make a stop there very pleasant. The church interior is beautiful. Vineyards climb the hills of this river valley town and wine is made there which can be bought in the wineries or local shops. The only negative would be the lack of dining choices in the town. The nearby, larger Kunzelsau unfortunately does not offer a great deal more. Ingelfingen is in easy driving distance of other charming towns; especially recommended is Forchtenberg.

From the cleaning staff right up to the the management all are very attentive, pleasant and wish you a very good morning with a smile. The atmosphere is most relaxed. We spent a very enjoyable week there. The food is of a very good standard and very well presented.
