Nice and clean hotel and I had pretty large room. Roof bar and living area with pool was nice and drinks were affordable. The view from the roof area was nice, you could see the sea and mountains. The sea was 30min walk away, 5min by car, but the beach was a bit further.

Strange vibes in this town, we were constantly harassed by people selling things, it was really uncomfortable. The whole three days we were there we only saw maybe 3 or 4 other white people, we felt we stuck out in a really bad way and felt very unsafe at night.

Las Galeras was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful beaches.
Las Galeras was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful beaches. If you like snorkeling and diving this is the place to visit. Samana is good for fishing whale watching. There are some beautiful hotels in Samana. A lot of Bed And Breakfast if you prefer to stay there. Beaches must go to Las Galera. Samana you can take the Gua Gua (bus) from Puerto Plata DR, to Samana for 400 paiso . The ride is safe and they make a 2 hr stop for food and bathroom. The total travel time is 4 hours to Samana and then if you want to go to LaGaleras it's 1 hr more and costs 120 paiso.

For me Samana have one of the most beaches in DR.
For me Samana have one of the most beaches in DR.
They’re no too far from the town.
It’s easy to book trips to: salto limón, playa Rincón, cayó levantado.
Only one concern for me, most of attractions doesn’t accept credit cards, yes you always can use cash, but currently, every business have a device to collect the payment through CC.

Samana is an unbelievably beautiful and picturesque city filled with historic places and amazing architecture. The people and super friendly and kind and treat you like family. We were so impressed with the area, that we have decided to return for Christmas and look for a piece of land where to build a property. Just gorgeous!

The seafront looks like adjusted to tourist crowds coming from PC. However, the rest is real Dominican what we liked. Lots of activities (ziplines, Playa El Valle, whales, Los Haitises, Las Galeras, Playa Rincon, etc.) Good for 4-5 day stay.

This hotel is out of the city touristic areas, this is actually good because I was interested in exploring Samana Bay beaches so this helped me to avoid city's traffic, for me is fair for the price. Rooms are cleaned daily and the breakfast is more than enough. Kitchen is well equipped and they have parking available. There is a little market one block away to buy food.
Everything was perfect: location, hygienic, staff, services, the view. Perfect to be in the city and enjoy all the places around, I will stay in this hotel every time I come back to this beautiful city.

Everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beautiful, clean hotel! Great location. Quiet street. Sometimes there were problems with hot water. But overall a wonderful and pleasant hotel!
Very nice hotel near the beach and near the docks where the boats leave for whale spotting. Rooms are modern however miss small things like hooks for clothing i the bathroom etc. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff very kind.
Everything about this hotel is perfect. Staff were super friendly and nice. One of the staff members, Gelson, gave me a lot of good info about what to see in Samana. There is so much to see in Samana.
Ocean view and the sound of the waves crashing. The hotel seemed freshly painted and was pretty clean. The room was decent, the staff was very nice and helpful. It was nice to relax.
The location is perfect, shops, restaurants and beach are so close to the hotel. The included breakfast was delicious, and the view was also incredible to the mountain and forest.
I love the location and the friendly staff this hotel has. The staff talked to us about a tour that was to die for. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to samana.
The staff are fantastic, the breakfast is top notch, and the view from the seaview rooms is gorgeous. The hotel takes credit card payments and is welcoming to its guests
The hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable, the amenities and the staff are great as well as the breakfast and the location. Definitely recommended.
