Good budget hotel, the most affordable within a large area. Clean and well kept, though a little outdated in some respects. Decent breakfast, kind and helpful staff.
This stylish design hotel offers free Wi-Fi and spacious rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. It is located 10 minutes' walk from Bilbao Cathedral and the popular Seven Streets district.

Everything. A little out of the centre but we like walking so no problem. Room was immense and very comfortable. Staff were lovely.
Located in the commercial heart of Bilbao, Hotel Ilunion Bilbao is 328 feet from San Mamés Bus and Metro Stations. There is a gym, and free WiFi is offered.

Superb location within easy walking distance to San Mamés metro stop, and to the Intern Modal Bus Station. It is perfectly located to walk to the Guggenheim Museum - less than 15 min through a lovely park or along the waterfront. The staff were friendly.
Overlooking Bilbao’s River Nervión, Barceló Bilbao Nervión is 260 yards from Calatrava Bridge and a 10-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum. It has comfortable, modern rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Was very clean, in a great location to walk around easily, nice design of room.
Conveniently set in the Bilbao City Center district of Bilbao, Sercotel Ayala is located 886 feet from Campos Eliseos Theater, 0.6 mi from Arriaga Theater and 0.9 mi from Funicular de Artxanda.
It’s really an awful place. I don’t see any good reason to stay there besides work commitments and/or the need to find a cheaper option than staying in Bilbao.
In the evening there’s no place around that offers food at normal times, they’re either closed or open only for drinking. I ended up at a Domino’s Pizza after a couple of wasted hours looking for a proper restaurant, on a Sunday evening.

The hotel was a short walk to the town centre and train...
The hotel was a short walk to the town centre and train station which has 3 trains an hour to Bilbao costing 3 euros 90 return and takes about 15 minutes. It is a very nice place with Lot's of bar's but very few shops and it was almost impossible to find somewhere to eat. I did find a Burger/Kebab /Pizza place but on a score of 1-10 I give it 1 and that's only because it was open.

What a beautiful and clean little town.
What a beautiful and clean little town. The railway station is like a little mansion and the staff there were so helpful in giving us help. The train ride into Bilbao was interesting and scenic. A little gem on our way back to UK.
Superb hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Free on site parking. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel is easy to find and only a short walk to lovely town of Arrigorriaga. There we found some friendly bars offering excellent food and drink. The train is only 20 mins into the center of Bilbao.
What can I say? It is what it purports to be, a budget hotel. Very basic but served the purpose of a bed for the night after having just got off the Ferry.
Great location and only a 6 minute walk across the footbridge to town where there are plenty of restaurants.

Clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. I would particularly like to give a mention to the excellent Fish Restaurant which is located next to the hotel. Well worth a visit.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean as was the room. The bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was nice, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, nice bread, jam, ham & cheese.
It's an Ibis Budget, it serves the needs for an odd night, it's cheap and cheerful.
The staff are always excellent in these hotels
