Superior room with balcony is fantastic as well as breakfast. Bring slippers in spring/wintertime: although AC heats the room quickly, tiles remain cold to walk on.

Perfect place in wonderfull Banyalbufar!! We loved everything. The kindness of the owners, the location overlooking the sea, the beautifull house in a relatively quiet area of Mallorca, but most of all the food.
There was a very nice breakfast with new specialty's every morning, served at your table with fresh ingrediences but the dinner (served three times a week) was seriously good food. (We expect a michelin star in the future.) It was magical overall.
Thanks for everything!

A sweet little hotel, lovingly looked after. The team is really great and tries to fulfil all wishes.
At the weekend I had to leave well before breakfast time due to a sporting event, but everything I wanted was provided in the fridge. Thank you once again, Team Paula!

The picturesque, traditional Mallorcan house with a most spectacular view in a charming little village. There were 129 steps to climb, but every step was worth it.

Valldemossa Central, but just enough off the main drags so that noise wasn’t a problem. Room was a suite, smallish, but had everything you needed, superking-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space with loads of hangers. Bathroom again, smallish, but had everything except a bath, but a really smart shower. Quaint little shuttered windows which gave plenty of natural light during the day. Breakfast was very good and nothing was too much for the lady who seemed to run the property single-handed, who, although actually Rumanian, spoke excellent English.

Accommodations were clean & adequate for our needs (we don't visit places to stay in rooms). We wanted a nice place to stay while we went exploring the Island via rental car. In evenings, we ate mostly at local restaurants and we did not have a bad meal; in fact, most were quite good in terms of nutrition and portion size, and reasonably priced. And the food was always fresh. The biggest issue for us was parking & driving; the rental agency gave us a big Jeep and it was a pain to drive on some of the small (tiny, narrow, curvy) roads we drove on when exploring other parts of the Island

We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place.
We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place. We counted at least 7 eating options and a variety of shops. It's a very historic village which clings to the hillside with cultivation terraces all the way down to the coast. A rewarding stay after the narrow and winding road to get there.

Banyalbufar is a small mountainside village of about 500 residents which is swollen by holday home owners and tourists in summer. Not recommended for people with mobility issues! Steps and steep inclines all over.
Restaurants that we used were good and there is a convenience store and a pharmacy. They all close a least one day a week. There is a beach but its a long way down from the main drag and its stony. If you enjoy dramatic views and sipping drinks on terraces whilst watching the sunset, it's fabulous!

Banyalbufar was lovely, peaceful and unspoilt when we visited in early July. The quality and selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel was a really nice surprise. We took our 6 year old to the beach and thought it was fine for kids her age if they don't mind the steep walk home but you'd want to take a sunshade and maybe rock shoes as it can be slippery and hot on the rocks.

Superb sea and mountain views.
Superb sea and mountain views. Excellent hill walking options. (Try the Cami des Correu marked walk to Esporles). Several good restaurants, try Sa Tomas for great sea food and paellas.
Banyalbufar is really a large village set on hillside terraces first established by the Moors; so steep hills and narrow streets.

This town was my favorite of all that we visited in Mallorca. Very small and quaint, but amazing food at the restaurants we visited. A number of places were closed when we went in October, but I would still go back to try more restaurants and the bodega that we weren't able to see. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the views from the entire town can't be beat. GO HERE!!
this is one of those gems that you “hope” tho find: the property is clean and unbelievably gorgeous nestled on the hills overlooking the sea. Splurge for rooms with a terrace if you can afford it because the views are stunning. Service is delightful and bicycle friendly. They provided us with an antique key to lock our bicycles securely in the storage room below. We cannot say enough about how magical this hotel is.
Breakfast was great and included large selection of homemade food. Lovely coffee and cakes. Penny was really helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and the village was peaceful. We would stay in the same hotel if we visit Mallorca again. It is a great place to stay if you want to go on lots of walks around the coast and into the mountains.
The hotel is in an amazing location, with views out to sea. We really appreciated the air conditioning in the room. It worked very well. The WiFi was also excellent. Lovely breakfast served on the terrace. Short walk into the town, and down to the bay which was great to swim in. We really liked Banyalbufar as it was a little more quiet and laid back than some of the mountain towns we visited.
Son Bunyola is an exceptional luxury hotel with plenty of beautiful terraces and discrete quiet areas for the small number of guests it accommodates. There are plenty of friendly staff available to provide services to guests and general help and holiday advice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner quality were very good and the location is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
This beautiful boutique hotel looks right out on the Mediterranean and the rooms are so unique and beautiful. The A/C was a life saver, with the extreme heat, and the short (but steep) walk to the beach for a swim was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they make a fantastic cappuccino at breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
A beautiful small hotel with amazing sea views from each room. Everything is perfect, the bed is very comfy and we slept like babies. The family that runs this place will make you feel at home and their breakfast is to die for - the homemade cheescake and coca were absolute highlights of our stay here. We will denifinitely come back.
Gorgeous location and very friendly staff. It’s a family run hotel and they made you feel as part of the family. The room and the hotel were charming and very clean. It’s one of the oldest buildings in Banyalbufar, built in the 15th century. I highly recommend it! The restaurant offers delicious food at a very reasonable price.
Excellent support from Maria. Very well appointed house. Outdoor seating area with sea view. Everything you could need in kitchen and for washing clothes. 3 bedrooms so plenty of room. Super cliff walk into Bunyalbufar. Chance to see the new 5*
Branson hotel on the way. Quiet village.
Honestly, we feel like we stumbled upon heaven in the mountains. The town, the hotel, the staff, the beaches and the sunsets. If I had tried to find perfection I never would have gotten this lucky. Part of me wanted to leave the world behind and move here fulltime.
I thought the breakfast was very good. Lovely fresh food and good coffee.
I liked the dinners that I had at the hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Lovely view of the sea from the bedroom balcony.
Room was spacious and peaceful.
It’s nice! Has a pretty view of the sea. The nearby free parking is helpful, unless the small lot gets full then the options are much more limited. Continental style breakfast was great and fresh. The terrace is really pretty.
Breakfast was great; barista type espresso/etc coffee. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Serrano ham, good cheese and ensaimada along with some of the best tortilla I've had. Everything served was top-notch
The breakfast was good. The views from the terrace were amazing. I did not use the pool area, but it looked very nice. The hotel its in a very central area of the town.
