The duplex was spacious and well equipped, and the master bedroom gives way to a big terrace to enjoy the weather over dinner. The temperature of the whole place was also very pleasant. We were also welcome with some magdalenas (small muffins), milk and coffee capsules. Really nice.
It also had an extra locker room where we put our bikes.

Do not be put off by the low star rating, this is a little gem
Ideally suited for anyone travelling from France to Spain. Lovely big room with very large bed. Food in restaurant was excellent and staff extremely helpful.

Great old parador type hotel very nice room with plenty of space and hot running water. I always judge the property by the towels and they were of good quality.
Staff were very friendly and breakfast consisted of ham and cheese toast and jam with coffee and orange juice.
Small tapas bar adjacent severing hot food and good beer
For the price, everything was outstanding. The people, the owner/manager staff were so friendly. The bar was just buzzing with Spanish liveliness and there was secure parking under the hotel. If I could give 12/10 for cleanliness I would. It helps if you speak a little spanish, but you would probably get by without.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. The building is steeped with history going back as far as the 18th century with all the original ancient old oak doors and roof beams. We travelled with our Irish Red Setter, and this was no problem for the hotel.
A real treat. Exquisite hotel. Spoke to the owner. He told us it was his family home.
Also that during the Civil War in Spain Generalismo Franco stayed in the hotel for 2 nights.
The owner was a gentleman.
. Great hotel..like the style. Great for dogs.. We had a suite. Large rooms.. Well furnished. Perfect for mid trip stop between sw France and Calasparra. Breakfast available but we didn't try it.
The hotel is amazing. Beautifully restored with elegant decor in keeping with the building. Very welcoming gentleman owner who told us about his ancestral home. Dog was made welcome.
