Was a convenient location on Camino Del Norte (trail passes on the road outside). Supermarkets nearby. Room was cold through the night but a spare blanket was provided in the wardrobe. Couple of shampoo and body wash sachets and soap provided. Towels provided. Excellent hot shower with good water pressure. Staff at check-in spoke excellent English. Used the correos luggage service to/from, and this went well.

Gorgeous room and location of the hotel. Helpful host who accommodated our request for a bath tub. The surroundings of the hotel are very serene. Breakfast was fantastic- proper coffee and fresh orange juice!

Colunga is just off the coast and probably 2km to the west...
Colunga is just off the coast and probably 2km to the west of Hotel Los Caspios. It is a busy, nice little town with plenty of bars and eating places. The Church dominates the centre. There are a couple of ATMs there too, but beware, they charge for withdrawing, especially Sterling to Euros.JohnUnited Kingdom

They have a restaurant that must be closed as it is off season. With that said, I have very little contact with hotel staff after check in. This concerned me as I was leaving my backpack for Correos but this was not a problem. They picked up my pack and delivered it. Look, this is a clean place close to a Mercado and restaurants so I would recommend it to peligrinos. Very clean, very comfortable and close to supplies! I do recommend it.Miami RayUnited States

There's a fridge in the room which was handy for storing some food and drink for the next day. There's a big supermarket next door. The hotel has a lovely little garden to enjoy.
