I liked everything about this property… beautifully converted and very professionally run. The location on the banks of the Rio Sil is perfect, with outdoor dining available overlooking the river. The owners are wonderful people, especially Soraya who went out of her way to make sure my stay (and everyone else’s stay was perfect. The food and wine here is just amazing.

A modern town with some old buildings but lacks the charm of the old village and old stone cottages , many ruins, where past generations lived up the hill. Depopulation a problem for local economy and business.

This is a wonderful hotel in a beautifully restored older building. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The public rooms in the hotel are spacious and interesting. The breakfast buffet is very good as well. All and all great value in a great building.

Super nice place, should be considered hotel, not a hostel. I recommend you to pay in advance so you will be able to auto-check in with codes easily (reception is not 24 hours, then better do it yourself instead than arranging it with them)
