Great hostel located the perfect distance from Pamplona and San Sebastián- The rooms are clean and made up daily. The hostel has a great bar and restaurants and the food was delicious. Spacious room with high ceiling, very friendly hostess who speaks English well, great location for us, good common areas and patio. Quiet for good sleeping on large and comfy mattress. On a small river, nice green space for a short walk. The hotel was once a wheat mill, and the lower level offers a fascinating glimpse of the past with the milling equipment in tact. We stayed on a Sunday night and thus few options for dining in Arbizu- however there is a very good cafe one mile away in Lakuntza that was open, Tximonena Jatetxea, where we had the best burgers in Spain and fantastic Navarro wine.
The Plazaola Hotel can be found next to the San Miguel de Aralar nature park and the Urbasa mountain range. It has free Wi-Fi. The rooms in the Plazaola are decorated in a modern style.
